We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Infrastructure Product and Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development, launch, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure products and programs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, develop roadmaps, and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business objectives.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Product Management:
  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for network infrastructure solutions, aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities for new products and features.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, including customers, business teams, and engineering groups.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define product specifications, develop prototypes, and oversee the product development lifecycle.
  • Manage product introduction to production and take a broad level of oversight of network project execution.
  • Program Management:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute complex network infrastructure programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and managing risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and executive sponsors, providing regular updates and resolving issues.
  • Define program metrics and KPIs to measure performance, evaluate outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive the adoption of project management best practices, tools, and methodologies across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, vendors, and industry associations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and escalations related to network infrastructure products and programs.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling collateral, presentations, and training materials to support product positioning and sales enablement.
  • Product Lifecycle Management:
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring product relevance, competitiveness, and profitability.
  • Conduct regular reviews of product performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements or retirements.
  • Develop and execute product sunset strategies, including migration plans, customer communications, and decommissioning activities.

Experiences and Competences required:

  • 10 years+ of experience in project/ program management, with a strong focus on network infrastructure products and services.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex programs from inception to delivery, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of network infrastructure technologies, protocols, and architectures.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus on strategic decisions.
