YOUR DAY TO DAY:

Drive and achieve the harmonisation (across all Vodafone OpCos) of capacity dimensioning and monitoring KPIs definition and criteria. Needs to steer the cross-functional working streams where the KPIs and criteria are defined and regularly revised.
Proactively identify of the congested network elements in a specific network domain – RAN, IP Backhauling and cross-domains, and estimate the future network load and potential congestion.
Perform complex traffic engineering analysis to model the network capacity actual status and evolution, leading to network investment efficiency while ensuring Vodafone’s Quality of service targets.
Monitor strategical KPI, analyse and report new technologies or services to support top management targets and LongRangePlans of the European OpCos.
Increase and improve the Digital experience and the design of the capacity dashboards to support VF OpCos capacity and performance comparative analysis.

WITH THESE SKILLS YOU ARE A GREAT CANDIDATE:

• Very good knowledge about IP backhauling and underlying technologies and architectures (IP/MPLS, Optical networks, Microwave) and related capacity & performance measurements
• Very good knowledge of 4G & 5G radio mobile network architecture, signaling and protocols, voice and data, and related counters & KPIs for network capacity utilization and performance measurements.
• Very good knowledge on Traffic Statistics (ie. Erlang B, Erlang C, queuing, QoS functions, policing, traffic shaping, congestion management) and Statistic Analysis (descriptive statistics, correlations, regressions)
• SQL for relational database, machine learning concepts
• Very good analytical, communication and coordination skills
