Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute secure network architectures leveraging Cisco Secure Access, Edge Network Security, Threat Control, and Secure Mobility solutions.
  • Monitor and manage network access security utilizing Cisco ISE appliance solutions.
  • Deploy advanced Cisco security solutions to thwart external threats and safeguard network-connected devices.
  • Resolve VPN issues and implement remote-access and site-to-site VPN solutions using Cisco ASA and Cisco IOS routers, including Cisco ASA Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), web security, email security, and cloud web security.
  • Identify and resolve issues with Cisco network security appliances and Cisco IOS Software devices.
  • Configure Cisco perimeter edge security solutions including Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls.
  • Manage security protocols across Cisco switches, routers, ASA, and Firepower Firewalls.
  • Take charge of configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions within our network environment.
  • Provide operational support for identity and network access control systems.
  • Demonstrate expertise in deploying Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and implementing 802.1X secure network access methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot Network Access Control, Web Authentication, and Guest Access systems. Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco ISE Fundamentals, Advanced Access Control, and Endpoint Access Control is required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in network security with a focus on Cisco Networks.
  • Expertise in various Cisco security technologies including Umbrella, Stealthwatch, WSA, ESA, AMP for Network and End Point, ASA, NGFW, Firepower NGIPS, Cloudlock CASB, AnyConnect, ACI security, Threat Control, and TrustSec.
  • Additional experience with Cisco Data Center Nexus, Cloud, Cisco ASA/PIX, Cisco Secure, ACS, Cisco ACI, Cisco IronPort, Checkpoint FW-1 and NG, Juniper Netscreen and SRX, Palo Alto, Bluecoat, and Fortinet security hardware/software products is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Must have own transportation and a valid Irish driving license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement of CCNP Security certification.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
