SUMMARY

Bell wants to add network analysts to its teams of specialists in the evolution, design, and operation of telecommunications networks as part of its professional services.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least five (5) years of experience as a telecommunications network analyst
  • At least five (3) years of relevant experience in IT support
  • Network certifications, including Fortinet and/or Cisco
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet equipment
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and Netscout, an asset
  • Familiar with the analysis of the main communications protocols: HTTP, SMTP, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Radius, etc.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of LAN, WAN and Wifi network architectures
  • Available outside of normal business hours, when required
  • Knowledge of English, an asset

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent ensures the maintenance and evolution of large SD-WAN, MPLS and LAN networks and is part of a level 3 operations team. Among other things, he assumes the following responsibilities:

  • Acts as a technical expert and network advisor to various internal and external stakeholders;
  • Actively participates in various technological evolution projects;
  • Ensures the proper functioning of various Fortinet products (Fortigate, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM) as well as data center switches and Cisco routers; Carries out technological production implementations in accordance with the best practices of the production implementation process (ITIL);
  • Keeps up to date the documentation of the components (logical and physical), the operating guides and engineering documents;
  • Ensures compliance with the ISO-27001 security standard;
  • Supports level 2 resources in incident handling in accordance with service levels;
  • Participates in the plan and the relief exercise.
