We are actively searching for a Network Specialist with expertise in FortiGate to become a valued member of our client’s team. The perfect candidate will take charge of designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure utilizing FortiGate solutions. Their pivotal role involves guaranteeing the reliability, security, and efficiency of our networks, coupled with delivering exceptional technical support and knowledge.” This Network Specialist role is located in Calgary, Alberta and is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity.

• Design, deploy, and maintain FortiGate-based network infrastructure.
• Configure and oversee FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, and other devices.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and security.
• Perform network assessments and audits, recommending enhancements.
• Collaborate with teams to meet client business needs with network solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance for network inquiries and issues.
• Stay current on FortiGate and network engineering trends and best practices.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and reference.
  Proven experience as a Network Engineer/Specialist, with expertise in FortiGate.
  Relevant certifications such as Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE), Cisco CCNA/CCNP, candidates must have one of the two to be considered.
  Comfortable working outside business hours if required
