NETWORK & SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR OPPORTUNITY ON THE GOLD COAST!

Our client at an iconic entertainment and hospitality have an opportunity for an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join within the IT team.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will design, build and maintain network infrastructure while supporting various IT systems like CCTV, VMWare, Linux and security solutions. Responsibilities include:

• Install, configure and test network equipment across multi-vendor environment
• Manage network security devices like firewalls, IDS, SIEM
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, tune performance
• Manage hybrid Active Directory with VMware and cloud infrastructure
• Promote standards through collaboration and peer review
• Lead and mentor team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as Network/Systems Admin in an enterprise environment
• Strong networking concepts like multicast, RSTP, virtual chassis, fiber
• Experience with Juniper, Brocade, Palo Alto, VMWare, Linux, Windows Server
• Problem solving skills to analyse and resolve issues efficiently
• Ability to lead teams and transfer knowledge
• Passion for technology and networking
