Description:
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Assist in the evaluation and analysis of Engineering and Operations networking needs and provide for integration of multiple hardware and operating system platforms; install, provide configuration management for and troubleshoot local area networks; provide assistance to user departments; assist in the establishment of university-wide network standards and training programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AT THIS LEVEL
Education/Training:
Work requires a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or computer-related field, or equivalent coursework or technical training.
Experience:
Work requires one to two years of local area network management, programming experience or analytical experience with knowledge of several computer languages, programs or systems.
EDUCATION
Work requires a Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field, or equivalent course work or technical training.
EXPERIENCE
Work requires one year of local area network management, programming OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE experience or analytical experience with knowledge of several computer languages, programs or systems.
