Are you an experienced nurse with a desire to use your considerable knowledge to develop specialist skills in the management of patients who have Neuromuscular Conditions? We are a growing and dynamic team with exciting times ahead. We are seeking a registered nurse to join the Team. The post is suitable for those wishing to develop their career as a specialist.
You do not have to be an expert now as we provide a comprehensive individualised personal orientation and a professional development plan which will be tailored to your current skills and experience.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of a well-established Neuromuscular Care Advisor and together you will contribute to the multidisciplinary team facilitating effective management of patients with neuromuscular conditions.
To deliver high quality patient care, acting as a role model for nursing practice across the Specialty and Trust.
To provide clinical nursing advice and education within the speciality of Neuromuscular disorders.
To act as a source of advice and knowledge of neuromuscular disorders and their management for patients, carers, health and social care professionals.
To collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in the provision of optimum care throughout all aspects of the patients care pathway and in all clinical settings for patients with neuromuscular disorders under the care of a consultant neurologist at STH.
The Neurology Outreach Department supports its staff to develop innovative healthcare services within subspecialist teams. The focus is on developing you to be your best in order that you provide expert knowledge, advice and support to the patients.
