The position supports the New Business Team by providing a foundation to the department’s productivity as well as overall operational support. The Team Support Coordinator will assist in managing new application submissions, payments, and medical record collection.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Process new business applications (life, disability insurance, etc.) in collaborating with Lenox case managers and underwriters
  • Scan and upload documents to our client management database
  • Update client information and policy record maintenance
  • Coordinate policy issuance and distribution, communicate with financial advisors and their support staff
  • Responsible for ordering medical records, follow-ups, and communicating updates
  • Manage incoming payments and deposits, collaborating with the accounting team
  • Provide ad hoc support for projects and tasks as needed
  • Serve as a liaison between team members, departments, and external partners

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Can effectively navigate within Lenox, MassMutual/Fieldnet, NFP/Blueprint
  • Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks
  • Can define and explain the various steps in our processes
  • Capacity to solve problems while considering impact to client and firm
  • Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Lenox’s proprietary CRM and workflow system power user in New Business-related areas
