QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in the elevator industry is preferred.
- Proven experience as an elevator adjuster, with a focus on new installations.
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to elevator adjustments.
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in adjustment tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, or bending.

Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
New Installation Adjusters are responsible for fine-tuning and adjusting newly installed elevator systems to ensure their proper operation, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Their expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality installations that meet client expectations.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct precise adjustments and fine-tuning of newly installed elevator systems to optimize their performance, ensure smooth operation, and meet safety standards.
- Perform thorough testing of elevator components, controls, and safety features to verify their functionality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and malfunctions during the adjustment process, utilizing diagnostic tools and following established procedures to ensure proper operation.
- Calibrate and align elevator equipment, including doors, car position indicators, leveling systems, and speed controls, to ensure accurate operation and passenger safety.
- Ensure that all adjustments are carried out according to the manufacturer’s specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines to deliver high-quality installations.
- Adhere to safety protocols, codes, and regulations throughout the adjustment process, ensuring the highest level of safety for technicians and end-users.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of adjustments, inspections, and any modifications made during the installation process.
- Collaborate with a team of technicians, installers, and project managers to coordinate tasks and ensure a smooth transition from installation to adjustment phase.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining the adjustment process, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of adjusted elevator systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry advancements, codes, and regulations related to elevator adjustments, attending training sessions and workshops as necessary.
