New Product Development Internship

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a summer internship position where the intern will get the opportunity to be directly involved in an ABEC Continuous Improvement project. ABEC’s internship program is a project-based and the focus of this internship will be in the assisting of the Chemical Assessment for Mobile Passivation project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field
Project management and/or research related experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

O Comparison between internal passivation process using two chemicals for cleaning and passivation as compared to the mobile passivation process using Citrisurf3050
O Testing of Citrisurf3050 on the current test spools and data gathering
O Defining the market scope on passivation as service Vs passivation and EP
O Complete detailed documentation and reports as it relates to the project
O Participate in frequent meetings as it relates to the progress of the project
O Establish recommendations and present project findings to ABEC’s senior leadership team
