Responsibilities:

The Instore Visual Merchandiser is responsible for maximizing store sales and profit through the execution of visual merchandise directives and overall outstanding store presentation.
The Instore Visual Merchandiser will mentor and train the store team to continuously uphold Visual Merchandise standards and will support the Store Manager in maintaining an elevated level of store presentation in-line with Company Standards.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Execute in-store creative concepts including windows and mannequins to drive the brand vision and deliver world class shopping experience
  • Conduct daily walk through with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Department Managers to plan VM actions for the week
  • Review weekly sales reports to make effective decisions on store layout and VM actions for the week- complete follow-up
  • Analyse range, product mix and stock reports on a weekly basis and implement moves as agreed to with the Store Manager based on the customer demographic and sell-through of product
  • Remain aware of the competitor activity to ensure JD Sports remains current and reactive to customer needs
  • Support the Store manager and management team on best practice to ensure company standards are maintained
  • Inspiring, training and supporting the store-based team to drive a world class experience for the JD customers
  • Engage in housekeeping tasks to upkeep store presentation standards
