Description:
AAMG is seeking Brisbane based New To Industry Light Vehicle Fitters looking to upskill to Diesel Fitter Trade.

We provide a range of services that include Automation and Technology, Asset Management and Skilled Trades to support large-scale mining and civil projects, working on a range of the latest OEM equipment with Tier 1 clients.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role will see will see you start in a Service Person position and upskill to a Diesel Fitter as you gain experience with heavy machinery.
KEY ROLE TASKS:
- Operate service truck - utilise hose reels for fuel, great, water & oils.
- Daily pre-starts, minor servicing and maintenance works to heavy machinery.
- Perform preventitive maintenance and any minor repairs to plant.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Trade Qualification - Certificate III Light Vehicle or a similar automotive/industrial trade
- Current drivers licence
- Previous experience on mining mobile plant or civil construction equipment.
- Sound knowledge of WH&S requirements
