JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a full-service provider of fire sprinkler systems, special hazards systems, fire alarm systems, vehicle systems, and associated fire protection shop services and provider of ITM services with over 50 employees based in Alaska, offices in Fairbanks and Anchorage

Position is Anchorage based. You will be working within the design/engineering and projects team.
The NICET Level IV Sprinkler Design Professional is responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and design of fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, fire pumps diesel and electric and associated controllers), in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards, as well as relevant local, state, and federal regulations. This senior-level position acts as a technical authority, supervising and mentoring construction installers, coordinating with multiple departments, and interfacing with clients to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Company is a turn-key provider of systems - design, permitting, installation, commissioning and on-going maintenance and code required inspections.
Qualifications:
1. NICET Level IV Certification in Water-Based Systems Layout.
2. State of Alaska IIC or IIC-DO
3. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sprinkler system design.
4. Proficient in CAD software and hydraulic calculation programs.
5. Strong understanding of NFPA codes and local and state building codes.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Collaborative team player able to work seamlessly with other trades and fire protection specialties.
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required.
