NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • You will be an Advanced Trainee in an accredited postgraduate training programme eg RACP.
  • You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility by visiting the Council - s website at www.mcnz.org.nz

Responsibilities:

  • Fixed-term (12 months), full-time Neonatal Fellow
  • Can be extended to 24 months
  • Included in the Paediatric registrar allocation to NICU
  • Commencing in January 2024
  • Gain experience in level 3 and level 2 neonatal care, including surgical babies and retrieval work. Total 44 resourced cots, average 46-48 inpatients
  • Work in a supportive team environment at Christchurch Women - s Hospital
  • Delve into research on optimising nutrition, infection prevention, echocardiography and many more!
  • Accredited for advanced neonatal training for 18 months under the governance of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
