The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800’s AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.
We are currently looking for an Night F&B Guest Service Assistant to join our Truly Talented team.

THE CORE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO SUCCEED

Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
Previous restaurant or bar experience in a busy environment is essential
Excellent personal presentation
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision
Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a night owl who enjoys working in a food and beverage environment, the role is interesting and varied and carries a high level of autonomy as you are one of two staff members on duty throughout the night at the hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF NIGHT F&B GUEST SERVICE ASSISTANT WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Preparing and serving beverages requested by guests
• Ensuring that cleanliness is kept at the highest standards at all times in the Food & Beverage Outlets
• Covering reception duties
• Collecting trays from guests rooms
• Ensuring breakfast requests are placed with the kitchen
• Setting up the tables ready for breakfast
• Setting up conference rooms ready for the next day
• Working in the bar
• Kitchen duties as and when required
• The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic and flexible.
