NIS2 Consultant

We are seeking NIS2 Consultant passionate about cyber security and skilled in negotiating and communicating with suppliers for one of our clients.

KEY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

You must have all of the following experience and competencies, which must be evidenced in your CV:

• Proven experience in supplier dialogue and negotiation
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• NIS2 knowledge is a plus, but not at all mandatory
• Ability to adapt quickly and undergo training in NIS2
• Familiarity with ISO27001 standards is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an external resource to assist in the implementation of NIS2 regulations, ensuring critical infrastructure remains safeguarded against cyber threats as mandated by EU standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct an initial assessment of suppliers to determine their NIS2 certification status and readiness.
• Communicate with suppliers to ascertain their compliance with NIS2 regulations and negotiate contract amendments as necessary to ensure alignment.
• Serve as the point of contact and facilitate communication between the client and suppliers throughout the implementation process.
• Utilize negotiation skills to secure agreements and resolve any contractual discrepancies.
  The client will provide onboarding with their legal and purchasing departments and utilize provided models and contract templates.
  The implementation tasks must be completed by the 1st of October 2024.
