A Technology business that is NOT an MSP or Consultancy which operates nationally, they have a unique and business-critical service offering which they provide.
They have an impressive track record for growth but what is more impressive is how they treat their staff as individuals over numbers. They are based within 5kms outside the CBD. This business is an NFP organization and is looking for its next NOC Support Engineer.
The Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated helpdesk support individual who is keen to build their career in IT across multiple platforms and technologies. The successful candidate will be a seasoned support engineer with solid networking experience who is ready for the next challenge that will take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1/2 helpdesk support (logging of IT tickets and troubleshooting up to an L2 capacity)
  • Monitor Infrastructure, Network and Systems
  • Manage and Document maintenance
  • Provide over-the-phone support for network-related issues
  • Escalate complex issues to senior staff
  • Provide awesome customer service at all times
  • Celebrate success with the team

Requirements for the position:

  • 2Yrs of experience working within a Service Desk or NOC environment
  • Networking experience (Switching, Routing and Protocols)
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Experience in incident and change management
  • Strong communication both written and verbally
  • Happy to work on a rotating roster that will include overnight, weekends, and public holidays
