Our Non-Trade Procurement team has continued to grow from strength to strength, with their expertise key in helping the business shape and execute group-wide category strategies in the indirect/non-trade procurement space.
Job Description
As our Non-Trade Procurement Lead, leading by example, you’ll empower a culture of collaboration, partnership and integrity within our diverse team of x7 chapter members - Develop and implement strategic and holistic governance of non-trade/indirect procurement frameworks, set clear policies and approaches that align with the business needs and values.
Operating two-fold being a confident and strategic operator, you’ll be key in supporting the business by building, influencing and negotiating the right supplier partnerships and delivering strategy around group-wide category and selection methodologies. You’ll lead the charge in identifying opportunities to enhance our procurement practice – your leadership and focus on collaboration, accountability and commercial decision-making will drive tangible results in our fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
Your thorough approach to category planning is efficient; a true problem-solver, you’re able to holistically assess where you and the team can deliver commercial, service value and cost savings to the business whilst aligning closely to our business objectives, values and standards. Your innate curiosity drives your need for continuous improvement coupled with your resilience to adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment.
Your excellent communication and relationship management skills will put you in good stead, as this role will see you work cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders at all levels, including Execs and board members.
Equally important is your ability to develop, empower and nurture your team to drive engagement and best practice. Your passion and drive to share knowledge and raise the bar will be infectious. Living and breathing servant leadership, collaboration and a growth mindset will come naturally to you.

Key skills inc.:

  • Experienced strategic indirect/non-trade procurement experience, with a passion for sustainability and business improvement
  • IT & Supply Chain experience highly beneficial
  • Agile and people management experience preferred
  • Ideally experience working in similar large, complex organisations
  • Exceptional problem-solver with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with confidence to operate in a complex, fast-moving environment
