Description:
Alberta Oil Tool, A Division of ChampionX Artificial Lift has an immediate need for a Northern Alberta Regional Sales Representative. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry required.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to use a customer relationship management system.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

- Drivers abstract.
Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support for the Alberta Oil Tool specific product lines (artificial lift, tubular, well head and other related products).
- Works closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
- Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
- Researches and provides forecasting for sales activities in the assigned sales territory or accounts.
- Effectively uses sales tools and processes to promote an efficient and effective sales process.
- Organizes presentations for distributors and end users.
- Support/lead trials of new technologies and proactively show initiatives by bringing ideas and new technologies to territory.
- Initiate and lead sales campaigns within territory.
- Supplies after sales technical support to customers.
- Performs all work in an ethical manner, compliant with local regulations and company policies.
- Travel within assigned sales territory.
- Other duties as required.
