The successful candidate will need a proven track record of managing NPI projects from concept to production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timeliness throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support NPI projects from initiation to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and supply chain.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product introductions.
  • Coordinate prototype builds and testing activities, analysing results to drive design improvements.
  • Implement and maintain documentation and change control processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize NPI processes and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Degree, HND (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Experience in NPI project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, including design, prototyping and testing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
