Line Coordinator, NAND PI
Description
As a Process Integration Line Coordinator in the NAND Technology Integration (NTI) Group at Micron, you will work on industry-leading semiconductor process technology related to existing and new NAND memory devices and technologies. In this position you are expected to engage and drive the program of a given technology node to hit the required milestones as well as how it impacts prior and upcoming nodes whenever is applicable.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Own and contribute towards activities and projects that improve NTI PI operational procedures, systems/tools, process capability, yield, and quality.
  • Setup, maintain, and continuously improve the BKM/business process of PI related tasks/procedures and train PI team members.
  • Manage wafer/WIP start and shipment logistics between fabs (swap lots and fab-to-fab offloads) for technology transfer and yield learning.
  • Manage critical process conversion and alignment between fabs and part types across nodes.
  • Manage and track process evaluations/experiments as well as hot/critical process conversions to ensure meeting the required cycle time.
  • Work with engineering team and coordinate process traveler turn in regular cadence.
  • Manage critical priority slot allocation across nodes.
  • Manage and regularly report program critical lots and its required process interception to hit the projected inline and yield goals.
  • Manage key inline/probe/final parametric indices and pro-actively highlight and trigger first level of investigation promptly.
  • Manage inline metrology and RDA inspection sampling to support the program need, balancing inline detection requirement vs. impact to the cycle time.
  • Ensure compliance on CSPEC.
  • Ensure line is running smoothly without holds.
  • Manage FA job priority tags.

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in the areas of Process Integration with knowledge in fabrication process areas (i.e. Photo, Dry Etch, Diffusion, CVD, Wet Etch, Plating, Implant, PVD, and CMP).
  • Solid understanding of SPC.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills with proven ability to work effectively and independently with minim
  • Teamwork player, collaborative, and able to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve the goals.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently both written and verbal to the management team.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and independent with minimal direct supervision.
  • Proven ability to make sound judgments, including problem escalation to management team when appropriate.
  • Knowledge of K2 view layout is desirable.
  • Exposure to R&D and transfer/manufacturing is desirable.
  • Self-motivated, self-governing with proven ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • Curiosity and natural tendency of learning new things independently.
  • Basic computer language scripting skills are advantaged.

Education:
Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Materials Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
