Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Applications are invited from Nuclear Medicine Technologists interested in a role with Northern Imaging Victoria (NIV) team at Northern Health.
This role requires a commitment to high quality work and patient care, in a dynamic and growing department dealing with a complex caseload amongst multiple sites. There will be the opportunity to upskill as necessary to the right candidate.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science Medical Radiations or equivalent recognised degree.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Hold a current radiation use licence with DoH Victoria.
  • Relevant Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, preferably including PET/CT but not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels within internal and external stakeholders.
  • Physical ability to perform all examinations and normal associated tasks (including manual handling skills and experience).
  • Skills to act as an appropriate and effective role model and be involved in a work culture that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated professional behaviour and interactions with patients/clients and employees.
  • Computer literacy, including RIS-PACS experience, use and understanding.
  • Demonstrated attitude of an openness to learn, grow and change.
