Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Occupational health team as Lead Nurse.
The Nurse Lead will assist in the co-ordination and delivery of a comprehensive Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service to North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust employees, its subsidiaries and employees of external clients. The post holder would be expected to contribute to the on-going development, delivery, leadership, monitoring and evaluation of the service.

Assess the Occupational health needs of the more complex individual’s physical, psychological, social health needs and make a decision on suitability to perform work tasks and provide comprehensive reports to management in order the staffs absence can be successfully and supportively managed. To plan and implement return to work programmes with a structured vocational recovery plan as required.
Responsible for personal and nursing team self-development of skills and competencies through participation in training and development activities and to maintain up to date technical and professional knowledge relevant to the post. Keeping abreast of current occupational health, wellbeing and safety knowledge through journals, web searches and networking
