Description:
Your role at St John of God (HAH)
We are seeking to recruit a Nurse Manager to join our Healthcare at Home team in Geelong, on a permanent part-time basis.
This position provides leadership, direction and management of the HAH service. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality, safe patient care, a positive patient experience and clinical outcomes.
The Position
- Capacity to understand and willingness to support and promote the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Leads and fosters a culture of continuous improvement where all patient encounters influence a memorable patient experience and which is underpinned by excellence and safety in care.
- Monitors, analyses, and reports variances and trends in clinical data to continuously improve clinical quality and safety outcomes.
- Contributes to policy and procedure development to optimise clinical outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
- Actively promotes and integrates service models with the hospitals to deliver seamless care in the community and ambulatory setting.
- Promotes the delivery of evidence-based practice, including research and quality activities to improve patients’ care in the home setting.
Successful applicants will be registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), hold a Tertiary qualification in nursing, management and/or relevant discipline and have recent acute clinical experience in home nursing.

- Salary: $125,249 + 11% Superannuation
- Permanent part-time, working 22.5 hours per week
