Salary package: $125,186 - $131,167 per annum plus 17% superannuation

POSITION OVERVIEW
The University Experience Division is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. The University Experience Division provides a range of support, enrichment, and advisory services to help students achieve their university educational goals. We support students living both on and off-campus and strive to ensure high quality and responsive services are delivered effectively to students from all backgrounds.
The ANU Medical Centre provides primary health care for students and staff of the ANU. The centre has a mixed billing model. Students receive services through Medicare or their overseas health cover, with no out-of-pocket expenses. The primary health services are currently provided by general practitioners, a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner who specialises in sexual health and women’s health.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the health services team and contribute to the provision of high-quality clinical care for students.
The successful application will have:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsement by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in the absence of a Medical Practitioner to provide quality care together with the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills, competence and leadership in the assessment, treatment and management of clients presenting to the service for a number of health presentations. Interest in sexual health care, international student health and mental health care will be highly regarded
