Description:

Your role at St John of God Langmore Centre
As a key leader, you will be responsible for clinical leadership and support the delivery of patient centered care, working autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced clinical role.
You will improve and maintain standards, developing solutions and outcomes consistent with service and organisational imperatives and targets.

The Position

  • Demonstrates excellence in advanced clinical nursing practice, including comprehensive holistic health history, physical examination and social/cultural assessment.
  • Demonstrates expertise in clinical judgement
  • Initiates, implements and evaluates care of clients within the scope of practice, clinical practice guidelines and Australian Nursing & Midwifery Council National Competency Standards for the nurse practitioner.
  • Practices within a clinical framework that is evidence based, relevant and current.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of specific pharmaceuticals and diagnostic tests related to mental health patients.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in documentation of clinical case management.
  • Provide leadership, through effective personal, professional communication, and interpersonal capabilities and change management as well as team and strategic capabilities – as outlined in the SJGHC Leadership Profile.
  • Assist in the establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships to enhance patient care and business outcomes.

You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), with Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have minimum 5 years recent Mental Health nursing experience and demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge s and extended practice utilising evidence-based practice.

  • Salary: $ 118,548.60 - $124,194.07 per annum, plus 11% superannuation
