QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Singapore
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, adhering to evidence-based practice and professional standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status, including physical, psychological, and emotional needs, to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to interventions, promptly recognizing and addressing any changes in their condition.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate and optimize patient care, including consulting on treatment plans and participating in interdisciplinary rounds.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote wellness and prevent complications.
  • Advocate for patients’ rights and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in the healthcare decision-making process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects to enhance the delivery of nursing care and patient outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of safety and infection control, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices to minimize risks to patients and healthcare providers.
