About the Role
Full time, Monday to Friday with monthly accrued days off.
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) – Residential Aged Care Services, is a member of the Care Services Leadership team; responsible for operational management of the daily activity of the clinical area, bed utilisation, budget, facilities, equipment, resources, staff support, growth, training and performance management as required.
The NUM plays a pivotal role working with the General Manger Care Services to deliver operational elements of Moyne Health Service, service plan.
The NUM will lead a team of nursing and ancillary staff to work to their full scope of practice, working as part of a broader multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, resident focused care aligned with the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards, delivering best care, every person, every time.
