Description:
Are you a level 2 qualified Nursery Assistant or level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse looking for a new role within an NHS Nursery who are part of an “Outstanding” rated Trust?

We’re seeking Nursery Practitioners to join us in our NHS nurseries at our sites in Maidenhead, Slough & Reading.
Within all of our teams you will find hard-working professionals ranging from Nursery Trainees to Degree Level practitioners and we are looking for likeminded individuals who are passionate about providing a stimulating and friendly environment for the children in our care.
We offer full day care for 51 weeks per year, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday in which you will work on a rota basis for 37.5 hours per week.

Encouraging all areas of the children’s development within Early Years Foundation Stage
Compiling and maintaining development records on children
Providing a stimulating, friendly and caring environment at all times.
Demonstrating good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion
Encourage parental interest and participation in the life of the nursery.
Building relationships with a small group of children and their families.
The Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BHFT) Nurseries began operating over 25 years ago and offer full day care for 51 weeks per year, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualified in childcare or equivalent
Previous relevant work in childcare
A knowledge of safeguarding children and child protection
