Description:

A vacancy has arisen in the Quality and Audit team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. This will be a 12 month fixed-term/secondment role with a view to permanency.
The main purpose of this newly developed role is to support the Head of Quality and Clinical Effectiveness to drive key quality, clinical effectiveness and safety initiatives within the Trust, with a focus on the nursing care agenda.
We are looking for a registered nurse who can support their clinical colleagues to make changes that positively impact patient care and outcomes.
Management of data is a key element of the role, and we are looking for an individual who has strong attention to detail and is able to support data quality.
This is a cross-site role and will involve being based at either Frimley Park Hospital or Wexham Park Hospital, with travel between the two sites required occasionally.

We are looking for an individual to work under the direction of the Head of Quality and Clinical Effectiveness to facilitate the Trust’s Fundamental and Better Care (FAB) programme.
The postholder will organise and execute quality walkabouts with a focus on nursing quality and safety topics, co-ordinating feedback and following up where required. They will have a frequent presence within clinical areas to increase awareness of the FAB programme and work collaboratively with the Trust’s FAB fellows to ensure consistent standards of care are delivered across the organisation.
They will support nursing teams to review their department’s FAB audit results and:
identify areas of improvement in relation to nursing care and celebrate excellent practice.
identify which areas may need additional support to continuously improve.
provide assurance in relation to the standard of nursing care across Frimley Health.

Facilitate the Fundamental and Better Care Programme, including:
analysing audit results and preparing summaries of the finding in reports to influence clinical practice and communicate main messages to key stakeholders.
identifying areas of good practice and helping clinical teams to embed best practice across the Trust.
early escalation of concerning performance and supporting clinical areas to address those concerns with improvement plans.
Working collaboratively with ward staff and leaders to ensure commitment to the FAB programme.
