Are you looking for a new opportunity to work in an agile and fast paced Financial Services Operations function?
Aligned to Nutmeg Operations, we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join us at an exciting time of strong growth and opportunity.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Associate you will be part of a growing Operations team. In this role you will be collaborating with a variety of Operations teams and processes. You’ll be identifying client needs and providing valued, efficient and market best service on an ongoing basis, working to onboard new clients and protect and maintain existing client assets.
The purpose of your role is to define clear and concise digital workflow models from existing functional workflows, whilst driving process improvement and supporting the wider business with new products/initiatives. You will also be providing efficient reporting and performance metrics. In this role you will also lead on identifying opportunities where there can be further alignment between various areas of our growing operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, ability to share our vision and goals
  • Good technical skillset with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
  • You are a commercially minded and outcome-oriented person who gets their sense of accomplishment from doing great work that leads to tangible success
  • Strong understanding of operational risk and controls monitoring and framework
  • Digitally savvy across different medians

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Experience in developing and implementing Data Strategy across an organisation, including Data Cataloguing, Data Quality, Data Lakes, etc.
  • Creative, problem-solving mind-set, and can work with minimal supervision to develop numerous solutions to complex scenarios for review by numerous stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and through PowerPoints and MI
  • Knowledge of data products, tools and processes such as Tableau, Signavio, AccesFintech, Python, Alteryx or similar business intelligence tools would be beneficial
  • Knowledge and experience of AWS Cloud infrastructure and capabilities
  • Relevant expertise in an analytical role in Financial Services banking or another heavily regulated industry including a strong understanding of Financial Services Operations functions
  • Experience working in a high growth company, start-up environment, adaptable, agile in approach and able to work in a constantly evolving business

Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and maintain operational excellence across the operations teams, ensuring the customer experience is unique, fair, consistent, transparent and enables the delivery of exceptional service
  • Acting as subject matter expert for best in class digital business policy, processes, products and solutions
  • Work collaboratively with the relevant teams to continuously improve operational and business performance to optimise both the client and employee experience
  • Partner with Operations teams to define requirements for analytics and generate MI/reporting to effectively communicate with the operations department as well as a variety of stakeholders across the wider business
  • Champion colleague culture, lead by example, and provide feedback and recognition at every opportunity
  • Work with large sets of data, enriching the data to drive business insights that guide business actions and/or result in improved business outcomes
  • Drive innovation efforts across Nutmeg; with a particular focus on efficiency, automation and improving client experience
  • Embrace new and emerging technologies and tools to amplify outcomes
