Description:

Your tasks

  • Planning and organizing tire/road noise measurements, including testing capacity and technical coordination of tire mounters in the labs
  • Analysis, prompt reporting and internal communication of NVH measurement results
  • Continuous improvement and further optimization of available measurement and reporting procedures
  • Modernization and further automatization of NVH test stands
  • Leading technology projects in the field of tire/road noise testing technologies
  • Preparation of NVH-related internal and external audits
  • Carry out regular vehicle, road & tire correlation studies
  • Development and implementation of new tire/road noise testing methods, both internal and according to customer requirements, including documentation and reporting according to Continental’s internal processes
  • Constant exchange and process alignment with satellite locations on NVH topics

Your profile

  • Academic degree in engineering or natural sciences
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in NVH testing, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Deep knowledge and interest in tire-related test methods
  • Good understanding of signal processing techniques and statistical methods, incl. ability of adapting software routines, for example using Matlab
  • Experience in project management desirable
  • Broad interest in state-of-the-art measurement methods and current trends in the field of tire and vehicle testing
  • Very good German and English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Intercultural competency
  • High degree of efficiency
  • Solution-oriented and innovative working style
