Description:
- Manage an internal team along with contractors
- Must have in-depth knowledge of utility scale solar technology
- Annual salary, plus super, plus accommodation - depending on experience
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field
- Extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of solar farms or similar renewable energy facilities
- In-depth knowledge of National Electricity rules and regulations
- Strong leadership skills
- Proficient in the use of O&M management software and diagnostic tools
Responsibilities:
As the Operations & Maintenance Manager, you will report into the Company Operations Manager.
Some duties include (but not limited to):
- Develop and oversee the maintenance schedule
- Ensure the solar farm operates within the guidelines and regulations of the National Electricity rules
- Conduct regular safety drills and reviews
- Lead, mentor and develop the O&M team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth
- Budget and resource management
