You’ll report into our Health and Wellness, Injury Management, Senior Business Partner, working closely with operational leaders to ensure the delivery and ongoing improvements of health assessments to all our employees, whilst forming lasting relationships and being a true champion for building credibility for health management across the company.
ABOUT YOU
You will be an experienced Occupational Health Nurse with a professional membership to the NZOHNA, or the qualifications to become one. You will be proactive and organized, as well as dedicated to continuous improvement and coming up with new ideas and initiatives. We are open to speaking to those who are looking for either a full-time or a part-time position.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Familiar with Health and Safety legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in delivering occupational health monitoring and fitness for work assessments
- Experience in similar position and/or industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not your traditional clinic-based position! This role sits within our fun and collaborative People and Capability team. You will be responsible for conducting pre-employment medical checks, as well as periodic occupational health checks for all LPC employees. This includes preparation for vaccination and venipuncture procedures, collation of the exposure monitoring matrix, and managing and conducting preventative health and injury prevention training to operational teams.
