Description:

Occupational Therapist - Extended Primary Care Team
We are inviting experienced Occupational Therapists to apply for a rewarding role working in an Extended Primary Care Team in Newham in ELFT. This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a therapy team in Newham.
As a registered Occupational Therapist, you will be expected to provide patient-centred occupational therapy to a range of community patients, with a focus on rehabilitation following hospital admission and/or illness, working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and nurses.
The role requires clear communication and an ability to play a lead role in the Occupational Therapy team, supervising and managing junior colleagues, including Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Support Workers and students. You will also be expected to work jointly with the OT Clinical Lead and other B7 therapists to ensure the therapy team is efficient and effective, meeting patients’ needs and introducing Quality Improvement initiatives where possible.
