YOUR ROLE

As an Occupational Therapist you’ll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our patients. We are seeking applicants with previous experience in the delivery of Occupational Therapy services to meet individual needs, adopting an inclusive consumer focused approach to care.

Your tasks will include:

• Assess patients emotional, psychological, development and physical capabilities using clinical observation and standardised testing
• Plan and direct programs through the use of vocational, recreational, remedial and social activities
• Liaise with other Health professionals in overall case management of patients
• Provide adaptive equipment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Be vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
• Current Police Screening Certificate
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant professional associations
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in oedema management as well as inpatient orthopedic, reconditioning and neurological rehabilitation is advantageous
