Description:
Nelson Bays Primary Health (NBPH) is the Primary Health Organisation (PHO) for the Nelson Tasman region. PHO’s lead and co-ordinate primary health care within the local community. NBPH also manages an integrated health facility, Golden Bay Community Health, who deliver a wide range of health services to the local rural community in Takaka. We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Nelson Bays Primary Health, to support patients living with chronic pain. The successful applicant would work alongside our diverse multi-disciplinary team, which includes HIPs, Health Coaches, Registered Nurses, Locality Care Coordinators, Dietitians, Healthy Lifestyle Facilitators, and Counsellors. The successful applicant will:
- Be self motivated and a team player
- Ideally have experience working with clients living with chronic pain
- Have strong coordination skills
- Have a strong desire to improve health outcomes for our community
We require the successful applicants to work 20 hours (0.5 FTE) per week. You should be a registered clinician (where mandatory) or member of a relevant association (where not mandatory).
