We are recruiting Occupational Therapists to join our team in the Therapies and Education Service.
Applications from Newly Qualified and Return to Practice are encouraged.
Rampton Hospital is one of three high secure hospitals in the country providing a range of highly specialised services to patients who experience a mental health problem, personality disorder or learning disability combined with a history of offending behaviour.
The hospital is host to a number of national high secure services including the services for women, learning disability and deaf patients.
We provide a range of treatment pathways for patients with complex needs including psychological, occupational and educational approaches to support their recovery.

This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust. This post also includes paid enhancements for unsocial hours working during night, weekends and bank holidays.
We are seeking to recruit Occupational Therapists to join our Therapies and Education Service and work with our fantastic multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital day care unit to provide assessment, risk management, care & treatment to aid recovery and further the patient journey.
The Therapies and Education Service consists of an established and dedicated team of Allied Health Professionals, Technical Instructors, Speech & Language Therapists, Nursing Staff, Education Tutors and Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care Staff, working together to provide a comprehensive range of interventions to meet the therapeutic needs of patients.
These include skills-based groups including creative, social, practical and vocational activities.

Deliver a patient needs led occupational therapy programme using a range of assessments, treatment approaches and evaluation based on best available evidence, to a specific patient group.
Be actively involved in the clinical risk assessment and development of risk management plans for patients and adhere to these.
Effectively manage a nominated caseload under supervision.
Adhere to professional and locally agreed standards.
Successfully time manage and prioritise areas of responsibility.
Be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team providing clinical reports as necessary and actively contributing to the Care Programme Approach (CPA) process.
Be actively involved in clinical governance and quality assurance activities as required.
To undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role e.g. session cover.
