Exciting Opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist!

Maple Ward at Meadowfield Hospital in Worthing is calling for an enthusiastic and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist with experience of working with people with mental health difficulties and experience of working in Mental Health Services to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The role is full time 37.5 hours per week.

Conduct Occupational Assessments and Interventions, emphasizing relapse prevention, establishing routines, and promoting recovery.
Provide Clinical Supervision to O.T Support Staff and Activity Worker Support Staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Play a pivotal role in Discharge Planning by conducting Assessments, coordinating Interventions and ensuring a smooth transition for Patients back into the community.
Group work is an important aspect of the Therapeutic Programme on Maple Ward and you would have the opportunity to be part of the development and coordination of this which includes the delivery of Acute Recovery College model to support Patients in preparation for Discharge.
