Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking applications from experienced Occupational Therapy Assistants across multiple site in the North Metropolitan area. This role is an ongoing casual position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and assist fellow OTA staff to conduct resident activities and outings correctly and safely
- Ensure records, statistics and progress notes are completed as required by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist with mobilising and transferring residents – moving from place to place and position to position
- Meet residents’ personal care needs, safety and comfort, whilst driving satisfactory completion of planned programs
