Responsibilities:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with demonstrated extensive clinical expertise in acute mental health services, to provide evidence-based interventions aligned with best practice guidelines. The successful candidate will work in a job share arrangement to lead and coordinate the MHU team, including contributing to and maintaining oversight of operational matters in a highly dynamic environment. This role also involves working closely alongside other OT Coordinators to support the OT Manager in implementing strategic initiatives towards achieving organisational and departmental goals.
The MHU has undergone major redevelopment and is opening its doors to a new facility with a capacity of 102 beds, including new youth and older adult units. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the growing MHU OT team, leading and contributing to the OT service development across the inpatient mental health setting.
