Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Diploma or higher
  • Knowledge in freight forwarding, import procedure or permit declaration.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work OT if required.
  • Able to perform in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Able to start immediately or on a short notice
  • Possess good analytical skills and team player.
  • Able to work with initiative
    Location : Toh Guan Road
    Working Hour : 5-days (Mon-Fri 9.00am – 6.30pm)

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating Sea Export shipments.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met and documentation is accurate and precise.
  • Ensure Fully Compliance on Workplace Safety & Health Procedure
  • Ensure completing the task or duties assigned with accuracy by continuously monitoring and managing costs, timelines and service quality.

DUTIES / SCOPE OF WORK

  • To ensure accurate and timely production of relevant export documentation and declarations (eg. HB/L, MBL, manifest, pre-alerts), customs declaration, Trade-net operations.
  • Perform general shipping functions including system data entries.
  • Coordinating and resolve shipment issues
  • To communicate efficiently with customers, shipping lines, transport team, trucking partners and overseas offices in order to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of the shipments.
  • Ensure customer requirements are meet, customers are up-to-date on their orders and documentation is accurate and precise.
  • To ensure related charges are billed and collected timely from the consignee or its agent
  • Ensure all transactions are handled in an accurate, complete and timely manner
  • To effectively follow up with CFS warehouse/oversea offices on any short-landed, damaged or discrepancy cargo
  • Answering to customer’s inquiries and handling customer’s complaints.
  • Preparing of payment vouchers, verifications of vendor costings, closing of all shipment files and filling of documents.
  • Interface with multiple parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, depot, trucking, insurance, customs clearance etc based on shipment requirements
  • Any other task assigned by the superior
