Konecranes is a leading supplier of Automated container handling cranes to container handling terminals globally. Our Business Line A-Yard (Automated Yard Cranes) is responsible for project deliveries with Automated Rubber-tired Gantry Cranes (ARTG) and Automated Stacking Cranes (ASC).
Preparing offers for large size and often complex automation projects is a teamwork of multiple cross-functional teams. We are now looking for an energetic Offer Engineer to coordinate and manage such technical offer preparation work. Whether you have just started your professional career or are already experienced professional, in this role you have excellent opportunity to develop yourself further working in a large cross-functional offer team.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
We’re looking for individuals who have education in the area of engineering, BSc or MSc. It’s also important to have general knowledge about industrial machinery and control systems. While not mandatory, any experience in technical sales, project management, or the port industry would certainly be a bonus.
This role is much about collaborating with customers and other stakeholders. We especially value energetic, customer-centric, teamwork oriented attitude with good communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
We’re seeking individuals who approach challenges with a positive attitude and are driven by achieving targets. Fluency in English is essential, and if you’re multilingual, that’s even better!
Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating offer preparations;
- Preparing, creating, and collecting technical and other documentation needed for offers;
- Ensuring that standard offering processes and disciplines are followed;
- Being active team member in customer and other stakeholder meetings;
- Providing support and consultation to sales;
- Actively participating in product management to improve and further develop offering process.
The role is based in Finland (Espoo or Hyvinkää) – but it goes without saying that hybrid work type is a part of our modern ways of working.
