YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS

  • Proven experience as an Office 365 Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Understanding of mail transport protocols, mail routing, and mail security technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and training skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Stantec’s Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Monitor and manage health services, mail flow, and connectivity in the Office 365 environment.
  • Manage user accounts and licenses, including adds, changes, and deletions.
  • Ensure the security of Office 365 systems by implementing appropriate policies and governance.
  • Collaborate with IT security to monitor and respond to incidents and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Provide IT support and training to ensure effective use of Office 365 services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external support as needed.
  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and changes, and communicate potential impacts to IT and the business.
  • work independently, remotely or in the office.
  • Standard business hours with the possibility of on-call availability for urgent issues.
  • Coordinate activities and tasks for team members. Potential for additional supervisory responsibilities down the road.
