Description:
WHAT IS THE JOB?
We’re looking for an Office Administrator to support the entity by providing comprehensive support and managing a range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting with organisation and communication across the entity.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm (Hybrid working available)

We use these products in manufacturing and research, from fibre optics to piezo motors. We are the gold standard with optics laboratories worldwide. There are now 22 facilities across the world in 13 countries. Here in Ely, we are responsible for the Motion Control and Optical Tables product line.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating, booking, and managing travel arrangements and accommodation for the entity.
- Organise and prepare for meetings including coordinating necessary documentation and presentations. Co-ordinating refreshments, lunches etc.
- Co-ordinate and communicate the entity cross departmental team brief.
- Support the Business Support Administrator with the roll out of entity IIP related activities.
- Provide timely reminders for important deadlines and co-ordination of documentation e.g., the annual business plan slides.
- Support with the planning and co-ordination of annual events such as the Christmas and Summer Parties.
- Organise company celebrations – budget busting celebrations etc.
- Organise employee gifts – Birthday, Easter, Christmas etc.
- Support with company charity events.
- Support with local networking opportunities – reaching out to local schools, colleges, and charities.
- Support with HR related activities for example, new starter inductions.
- Undertake routine administrative duties including printing, photocopying, scanning and filing etc.
