Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team! The Office Administrtor is the linchpin that keeps the operations of the Northern Patio and Sun Country organized. Willing to to roll up their sleeves and help where needed, this go-to person is responsible for managing the accounts payables, assisting the production team with administrative tasks, monitoring and purchasing supplies and ensuring the overall efficiency of the office. If you are passionate about creating a great product experience for customers, are innovative, a self-starter, adaptable and you like to have fun, you could be a part of the Northern Patio and Sun Country team!
What you will be doing:

Finance

  • Receive and enter invoices, receipts, bills into accounting system.
  • Make paymments for invoices and bills and track through accounting system.
  • Input purchases into the accounting system

Production

  • Input production numbers into excel spreadsheet and send updates to team members.
  • Assist production associates with finding fabric or looking up dimensions of a product.

Purchasing

  • Monitor inventory for office supplies and general supplies such as soap, hand sanitizer, bathroom supplies and re-order as needed.
  • Order production supplies as requested by the production consultant.
  • Track purchases in accounting software and ensure that they remain within budget.
  • Office Administration
  • Welcome and screen visitors. Assist them or direct them as necessary.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Manage inbound/outbound mail, packages and courier services.
  • Manage overall efficiency of the office and maintain filing systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

People

  • Set up new hires in the time and attendance system and issue them FOBs.
  • Prepare new hire onboarding duotang and provide instructions to new hires on how to complete health and safety training on company computer.

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of ordering supplies and inventory control of these items
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and focuses in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced work environment and prioritize tasks
  • Positivity, relationship-driven and the ability to set the energy of the team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must maintain a professional manner and customer service mindset
  • 2+ years work experience in office administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • College degree in Business Administration or transferable skills related to the job role competencies

WHAT YOU PROBABLY WANT TO KNOW

  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00pm
  • Salary depending on experience
