Description:
Support Ontario Youth is looking to hire an Office Administrator/Executive Assistant, to help support our driven, focused, and ever-expanding team. We welcome the experience of someone who can implement processes and systems to stay effectively organized.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- 2-4 years of administrative and/or executive assistant experience
- Previous work with a Board of Directors and taking meeting minutes is an asset
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft 365 with expertise in Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Must be highly organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior ability to coordinate calendars of multiple staff and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
- Must be comfortable making calls, talking on the phone and interacting with all levels of stakeholders
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Exposure to the skilled trades environment would be an asset but is not necessary
Responsibilities:
Office Administrator
- Responsible for managing your own workflow to get the job/task done efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Managing internal and external communications with all stakeholders
- Organizing office events
- General administrative duties including but not limited to answering phone, organizing filing system, preparing event materials, and handling requests or complaints in a professional manner.
- Light organization of office including public and kitchen area
- Occasional travel to support events or members may be required.
- Provide administrative support to other departments within the organization, as needed special projects and other duties as assigned
