Established over 100 years ago, Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society is committed to supporting its members
to establish the Connemara Pony as the world’s premier pony for sport and recreation.
Based in Clifden, Co. Galway we are currently recruiting for the position of Office Administrator. This post is offered on a part time or full time basis with hours worked daily over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team and ensuring smooth operations.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact.
Address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
Monitor emails.
Manage general office tasks.
Miscellaneous project work and administrative duties.
Provide support to the Secretary and Office Manager.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
A minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative role.
Demonstrable communication skills.
Strong telephone manner and customer skills.
Be proactive, decisive, positive and a problem solver.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Salary commensurate with experience.
