The Office of Admissions at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications to fill a permanent, full-time Office Assistant 1 (Keyboarding) position, Grade 6.
Posting Date: June 11, 2024
Review Date: Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Date of Appointment: As soon as possible.
Description of Responsibilities:
First dedicated person to answer telephone and direct to the appropriate person/department daily.
Promptly forward emails from Admissions email accounts to the appropriate person/dept. daily.
Meet and greet visitors in the reception area.
Prepare labels and mail out printed materials daily.
Provide support to student staff members who answer phone calls, as needed.
Use Slate CRM daily to look up current applicants, fix data errors daily, run queries to maintain the accuracy of the database.
Data entry to maintain student records.
Notify counselors of appointments.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of Google platform
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in college admissions.
Working knowledge of Banner.
Familiarity with an admissions CRM.
